Making an Appointment

Appointments to come in to the Writing Center can be made for anytime that the Writing Center is open. You can make an appointment by email or phone. Either way that you choose to make an appointment, we will need your name, phone number, a day and a window of time where you can come in. If you make an appointment via email, you do not have an appointment until it is confirmed by the Writing Center.

What should you bring with you to your appointment? Bring your assignment and anything that you have written on the assignment. Please do not bring your laptop to a session! It is much easier to work with a printed copy of your work.

If you can not make an appointment, please call or email to cancel to free up your slot. If you are late, we will hold the slot for you for fifteen minutes before it is forfeited.

To Make an Appointment:
Call: x6387
email: thewritingcenter@hollins.edu

Walk-ins are also welcome but we cannot guarantee you a tutoring session, especially during our peak hours.
