Students seeking extra help with their writing can choose to
participate in a two-credit independent study with the Writing Center.
Throughout the independent study, the student meets weekly with a
Writing Center tutor to discuss all aspects of the writing process. To
participate, a student must be simultaneously enrolled in a writing
intensive class. The Writing Center Independent Study is a wonderful
way for students to gain confidence in their writing ability and build
a friendship with a tutor.
