Internship and Volunteer Opportunities

Internships

Cultural & Community Engagement provides a variety of unpaid internship opportunities for academic credit or during short term. Student interns will work closely with the associate dean in implementing educational workshops, programs, and discussions relating to diversity, inclusion and other topics of interest. Interns are encouraged to design their own experience to match their interest and major(s).

Interns must demonstrate the following: creativity, excellent programming skills, organization and time management skills, excellent communication skills and a desire to make a positive difference on our campus.

Volunteer

In serving the varied needs of the Hollins community, Intercultural Programs will be able to expand its services as volunteers step forward to offer their expertise. Why not turn a few hours of your time each month into a valuable contribution? Discuss your particular interest(s) with the Cultural & Community Engagement associate dean and design an opportunity that will accommodate your time schedule.

For more information, contact Jeri Suarez at 540.362.6382 or jsuarez@hollins.edu.
