About Julia

I was born in New York City in 1988. I grew up in New Jersey, which I am extremely proud of regardless of the stereotypes and vast generalizations of the Garden State. I am passionate about the arts, community activism and how they can be fused together to make fun, beautiful things happen. I’m an Art History major here at Hollins with an interest in event planning. I love my classes, friends, and professors here. Thus far, it has been a dream! This course was a real treat for me because of my interest in both Anthropology and Women’s Studies in addition to my Art History background. It was an honor and pleasure to interview someone as intelligent, warm hearted, and fabulous as Carol Fox who taught me a great deal about how to be a participant in change and to reach out to others.
