Kaley Birch

My name is Kaley Birch and I'm a rising junior at Hollins University. I'm from Richmond, Virginia and I'm 19 years old. I plan to major in Environmental Science and minor in Anthropology.

I enrolled in Life Histories/Self-Narratives with Prof. Costa because I love anthropology and I was interested in the idea of interviewing Hollins alumnae who have become involved in activism.

I found this project incredibly inspirational because I hope to become involved with animal rights activism when I leave Hollins and through my interviews with Deb Cuny, I've learned a great deal about activism and what to look forward to.
