Hieu: Did it include the guy that asked you questions about…..

Brinton: No..no… ( both laugh…),….(.giggling)  he may ended up in Virginia. 

Hieu:  I think that was a cute story ……..(laughing with her…..)

Brinton:  Yeah….in Virginia.

(Both were laughing very hard at this point!!! J)

Brinton:  um……I..I don’t know what happen to him. (laughing again!)……….track it down…U…M…….SO….(smiling J)…… that’s how I ended up to Hollins.  Um…..and I met so many wonderful people at Hollins.  You know I met some wonderful professors in many ways that worked out ok. 

Hieu:  Do you know Dr. Randy Flori?

Brinton:  YES!

Hieu:  Psychology ……

Brinton:  Yeah! He was there when I was there. 

Hieu: Yes! He is still…..

Brinton:  But you know, I never took a psychology course at Hollins.

(53:20)Hieu:  They made mistake………Oh!  This is interesting! ….I picked your name because I saw PSYCHOLOGY ……from psychology I narrowed down slowly ..slowly…Finally I got your name.  Turn out they made mistake, instead of PHILOSOPHY…they put Psychology.

Brinton:….me…at me…

Hieu: Yup!

Brinton: Aa! …oh I know……

Hieu:  You graduated Philosophy major…

Brinton:  YEAH! (her eyes open widely!)…….YES!

Hieu:  Yeah!  Dr. Costa told me that.

Brinton:  Oh…..ah…..I see…….ah…….uh……..

Hieu: Because of that mistake, made me found you…….

Brinton:  Oh, that‘s good.

Hieu:  I was confused ….I saw in the year book you graduated Philosophy major, but on the profile I read……said psychology……yeah…….. made mistake.

Brinton:  Yeah, right……that ‘s a good mistake.

Hieu:  It’s so scary that …um…this interview….because…I want to show you something, I skipped a lot of questions because….and you know why…..you just answer all……. …..I did not even ask……… this question, but I let you read it……

Brinton:  HA…HA…..HA….

Hieu:  This is…

Brinton:  Ha…ha…ha…..

Hieu:  where is it….?Right here….(show her my paper) …… “How much luck and how much hard work in your case?”…….and you just said……..

Brinton:  Oh……ha...ha….ha…..THERE….YOU …GO……

Well, you must have moved me toward that question…….

Hieu:  No…..I didn’t…… I just like…..totally after the first half of this (show her my paper)  I just let it flows…….because…..

Brinton: well, I did…a wonderful job….

Hieu:  because I was really into it….I was…so excited…and I ….actually I am inspired by you because ….I just want to tell you that….

Can you say something that…to SHAKE other people out side the world ….should have the same thoughts, do same things that you do ……..because there are so many people nowadays….just  ”I”…..”I”…and “ME”…..that one thing that bothers me lot.  And like you said, you can’t do anything alone.  You have to …….patience…..and big change takes whole life….

Brinton: Right…right….and when you read about Nelson Mendala……you read about some of the work he had to …in the prison when he was …he had quite a incredible autobiography………but he worked in the South African when he was in prison….it …life and change and just long…. slow journey …and you know I think sometimes, too, that…temlamented….you know I think some of…...half of glass half full……and also (P)….I …..you know ……I …..my office mate call me ……do you know what the energize bunny is? You know it’s an add for a battery ….and it a bunny that‘s always moving and always has a lot of energy …..I think some of that it ..temlament too….I happened to have a fair amount of energy that I …….
