The informant's thoughts on the interview process
I think this is a good experience for you and for the people you interview. I told my husband, “You know, some of the questions she asks bring up things that I have not thought about in years." You just kind of go along, and you don’t really think about some of the things. I think this is a very good idea. I think it is a great experience. Like I said earlier, I think I have had probably the most boring life of anybody. But it has been interesting for me, for the person to bring memories back. It makes you stop and think about things that I had not thought about in year, things like my father and about my husband, things that I just have not talked about.
