The Process

This process has been a definite learning experience for me.  From start to finish, this project involved hard work, time, and commitment. I along with other students in the class, used methodology, completely foreign to us throughout the semester.  However, as a student extremely interested in pursuing a career in anthropology, it was rewarding to look back at this process and in a way feel as if I have created my first "anthropological work".

I very much enjoyed the interview process even though at times I had problems in asking the appropriate, correct questions. I am thankful that the man I interviewed had a wonderful, open personality.  I also think that the fact that Professor Nye is his neighbor and was present at the initial interview, left Wilton feeling quite comfortable with me.

Overall, creating a life history is a rewarding experience.  Being allowed to also create this webpage using our own creativity, and in my case photography was such a welcomed change from the daily drone of quizzes, tests and exams.
