Companies in Residence History

Above is a list of companies that have work-shopped repertory material while in residence at Hollins. During these residencies, technique classes are typically taught to students and informal showings of the work/works in progress are given.  These residencies dually enrich the companies and students lives. Choreographers and their dancers, are given time and space to hone their ideas in a peaceful and introspective environment. Through dialogues and showings, students are able to get a first hand look at the different processes that current companies are exploring through the creation of their work.
