Cortney Bledsoe '06 recently published a chapbook entitled _____ (want/need)  with Plan B Press.  He has poems appearing in upcoming issues of Barrow Street and Arkansas Review.  Recently, two of his stories were nominated for Pushcart Prizes.
   
Jillian Bledsoe '06 is the head of the English Department at Oldfields School in Glencoe, Maryland, where she teaches English and Creative Writing.

recently published his first collection of poetry, The Journey of Hands, with Word Press.
   
Lisa Bower '07

is currently working as a freelance writer/proofreader, an online writing tutor for Smarthinking.com, and an online scorer for Pearson. She works in her pajamas and drinks too much coffee. She recently finished a stay at The Vermont Studio Center. Her current goal is to mail as many postcards from as many zip codes as possible (take that Ludacris).

   
Patrick McGinnity '07

has accepted an appointment at  Central Michigan University and will be teaching there in the Fall.

   

Luke Johnson '09
Luke Johnson was recently awarded a Tennessee Williams Scholarship to the Sewanee Writers' Conference. His poems are forthcoming in The Greensboro Review, New York Quarterly, Poetry East, and RATTLE. He teaches at Oak Hill Academy in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia.
   
Erin McKee '09 has a story entitled "Southbound" in the current issue (27.1) of The Southeast Review.
   
Will Schutt '09 guest-edited the Summer 2008 issue of A Public Space and has poems forthcoming in the Spring 2009 Harvard Review, and the Fall 2009 issue of FIELD.  Recently, he was awarded the 2009-10 Stadler Fellowship at Bucknell University.
