Adam Dorris

"Adam kept pacing the halls muttering to himself, 'Write. Edit. Read. Write. Repeat!' "

He was from Texas. He had been warned against The Present Tense.

Luke Eschenburg

Luke enjoys posing against yellow walls and smiling his aw-shucks smile. He hopes to get by on his looks for the rest of his life.  He also writes poetry and hails from West Michigan.

Jennifer Fawkes

Jennifer Fawkes writes fiction.

Evelyn Haselden

The following are three truths and one untruth about Evelyn Haselden.  She comes from the home of bluegrass, bourbon, and horse racing - Louisville, Kentucky.  She is a karaoke diva.  She's secretary of the Barry Bernson Fan Club.  She has fish scales under her clothes.

Rase McCray

Rase's writing has received contest honors from Gulf Coast, PRISM International, The Iowa Review, and The Academy of American Poets. He wrote this other bio that was very witty and enlightening and clever and witty. Needless to say, it was far too long to fit here. He'd like to be a stand up comic or direct a film someday.

Kristina Newberry

A Russian émigré, Kristina Newberry was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, by a mother who believed that unless you read every day, you didn’t deserve dinner. Kristina received a B.A in English from Moscow State Linguistic University and an M.A. in English from Radford University. In the past four years, her short fiction appeared in North Dakota Quarterly, Arts & Letters, Rattapallax, Nimrod, Feminist Studies, Phoebe: Gender & Cultural Critiques and other journals.

Michael Overa

Michael was born and raised in Seattle, and accidently ended up living in London, Dublin, and Sydney.  He's spent too much time as a bartender.  He misses his girlfriend, Jil, and tries not to write sappy love stories about her for workshop.  You don't have to read his stories, but he doesn't wanna have to go all Tony Soprano on ya.

Brittany Scott

Brittney Scott grew up in Indiana along the Ohio River. Now, she lives in Roanoke where she writes poetry and hangs out with her Norwegian Forest Cat, Sebastian. Her plans after graduate school are undecided, but she could be joining Peace Corps, working for Farm Sanctuary, getting her Ph. D, teaching, or all of the above.

Danielle Spratley

Danielle Spratley writes poetry and is a jammer for the Star City Roller Girls; she is usually bruised and/or broken. She has tried doing other things, but they offend her delicate sensibilities.
