Current Student News                 Jennifer Fawkes '10 has a story entitled "No Fun Anymore" in Berkeley Fiction Review #29, which has been nominated by the editors for a Pushcart Prize. She is also an intern at Shenandoah magazine.         Jes Gearing '11 presented a paper entitled "How Then Shall We Dwell: Roger Deakin and the New British Nature Writing" at the Rice University graduate symposium Shifting Spatialities: The Dynamic Boundaries of Place and Space on October 2, 2009. She also recently appeared in a local Channel 7 Morning Show presentation on cooking, which can be seen here, here, and here.         Kristina Newberry '10 has an essay entitled "Someplace Else" forthcoming in the Spring 2009 issue of The Southern Review.
