Beginning German is divided into two semesters. German 101 is taught every fall and German 102 is taught every spring. This yearlong course is an introduction to the German language, with emphasis on listening-comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing. Not open to students who entered with two or more units in German. Open to first-year students. No prerequisite. Fulfills the language requirement for those students who have not previously studied German. (LAN) |
