The Quantitative Reasoning Center is located on the bottom floor of Middle East, in the newly created Center for Learning Excellence (CLE). The CLE is a shared space utilized by both the Writing and the QR tutors. All members of the campus community are invited to visit the CLE if they need assistance with quantitative concepts in little-q or big-Q classes. Walk-ins and appointments are accepted! The QR Center is staffed by student tutors under the direction of Mrs. Phyllis Mellinger. Tutors undergo a semester long training process and attend various q-classes in order to prepare them for peer tutoring. The tutors have backgrounds in many subjects - we aren't just math majors!
