Cojourners. Cojourners is a student led evangelical Christian group. Cojourners meets every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Janney private dining room. For more information: hu_cojourners@yahoo.com.

JSA. Jewish Student Alliance is made up on Jewish students, and other interested parties, for education and observance of Jewish life and tradition. The Jewish community at Hollins is small, and this group is currently seeking strong student leadership. The activities of this group vary according to the needs and energies of the active students. We work closely with the rabbis and congregations of the Reform and Conservative Congregations in Roanoke. Contact: the Chaplain's Office at 362-6603 for more information.

MSA. Muslim Student Association is an independent and small group of Muslim students on campus. This group has co-sponsored Friday prayers, and Ramadan iftar dinners with supportive Christian students. We are seeking strong student leadership at this time. The activities of this group vary according to the needs and energies of the active students. Contact the Chaplain's Office 362-6603 if you are interested.

Shine. Shine is a small group of students configured like Young Life ministries. Shine meets on Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. Contact the Chaplain's Office at 362-6257 for more information.

The Canterbury Society - We are a new group of open minded Episcopalians who like to meet with other open minded people to talk about God and life. We will meet on Tuesday evenings after Senate at 8ish for a fabulous potluck dinner, in the Gordh room at the Chapel, followed by a laid-back discussion. Our goal is to have fellowship, explore ways we can make a difference in our community and work towards implementing the Millennium Development Goals and the ONE campaign to end extreme poverty. We're Episcopalian...so that means plenty of food, laughter, singing, talking, friendship, and of course, God! All are welcome to help us form and direct the evolution of this group and its mission. Come join us!

THUGS. The Hollins United Gospel Singers is a student-led gospel choir who perform a wide variety of a capella gospel music. Though they have a songbook full of songs, we welcome new songs from members. THUGS is primarily a place to have fun by way of beautiful, inspirational music. We welcome any skill level, level of commitment, student or voice. We rehearse every Sunday at 6:30pm in Presser 209. We organize all performances, rehearsals and song selection ourselves and try to involve everyone and the campus community in worshipping through music. Contact the Chaplain's Office at 362-6257 for more information.

Your group?
One of the unique assets of Hollins is the easy ability to create a group based on your own set of interests or needs. We are hopeful and open to your ideas in response to needs you observe in yourself or on campus.
