CHALLENGE JOB AND INTERNSHIP FAIR Thursday, November 13, 2008 Lynchburg, VA
Sponsoring Institutions: What is CHALLENGE? CHALLENGE is a liberal arts and sciences job fair, sponsored by a consortium of small liberal arts colleges and universities in the greater Central Virginia area. The purpose of the CHALLENGE Job & Internship Fair is to provide and opportunity for students to meet and discuss career options with employers who typically hire new graduates. National, regional, and state employers are provided with an opportunity to talk with students from the participating institutions, with whom they might not otherwise have contact, in a designated neutral location. The job fair assists students in launching the job search and provides employers a means to identify potential employees conveniently and cost-effectively. Who can attend? Junior, senior, and graduate students. During the morning, students can visit information booths hosted by employers. During the afternoon, job interviews are scheduled for graduating students.
