  • NATIONAL INTERNSHIPS GUIDE Click "Go to Premium Pages" in the first box; select Hollins from the drop down menu and enter Promo Code: Hollins. You will have access to exclusive content and contact information not available to the general public.
    This website offers well over 5,000 internship listings. Updates are made daily. You can search by career field and/or geographic preference.
  • MonsterTRAK (ALLIANCE FOR VIRGINIA COLLEGE CAREER SERVICES)
    Includes internships from four area colleges in Virginia. Use the following procedure:
    1. Place your cursor in the section where there are large blue moving letters and click.
    2. In the top box of the next page, click the state: Virginia
    3. In the lower box, click the school: Hollins
    4. Click the green sign-up button which means you are now logged onto the shared database of internships. You do not have to complete a formal registration. process to research internships in this site.
    5. Click "Search Jobs & Internships" to begin search
    6. Click on Advanced Search
    7. Job Listing Data: Select “All”
    8. Job Type: Select “Internship/Externship”
    9. Job Location: Select state (note: D.C. is listed as Washington, D.C.)
    10. Skip "Limit Jobs Searched"
    11. Skip "Job Category" on initial search; it can be used later to further refine your search.
    12. Use "Job Keywords" if appropriate
    13. Skip "Job Industry" on initial search; it can be used later to further refine your search.
    14. Click "Semester Available" to see if the internship is offered during Winter or January term, summer, and/or semester.
    15. Click on Search, then click on specific internship for details
