Cell phones are provided for business use including extensive corporate travel, recruiting, development, and critical real-time communications in the performance of duties.  The issue of cell phones should follow cost-benefit analysis showing a return exceeding the cost of the cell phone. Hollins cell phones should not be issued for personal convenience.

Criteria:

• Anytime a user’s total monthly usage exceeds 300 minutes, personal calls will be reimbursed, by the user, at a rate of 20 cents per minute.
•  If total monthly usage does not exceed 300 minutes, reimbursement of personal calls is not required.
• Business calls may exceed 300 minutes without additional charge.
• Cell phone users are requested to use Hollins office phones while working in their Hollins office.
• Cell phones are equipped with a free feature called “Direct Connect” allowing users to connect to and converse with all Hollins associates (Nation Wide) using the Hollins Corporate Nextel service.  Please use this feature to talk to associates as it is free and will greatly reduce total cost of cell phone usage by Hollins.
• If there is an overage on your account, detailed call history will be provided to users for the month to compute their personal calls.  Include a copy of your detailed calling history with the check.
