During the Expo Year
Hanover  2000 "KuhArtExpo",
artists from lower Saxony painted
life-like, large PVC cows.   These
cows were then exhibited in a
traveling exhibition that visited
marketplaces and shop windows.
By June 14, 2000 cows stood
everywhere in Hanover and on
June 15, 2000 all sixty cows met
as a herd at the Opera House plaza
for a "night of milk" with hundreds
of visitors (see pictures below). 
      They then participated in an
ART ACTION in support of the
Union of Milk Workers on Wed,
August 30, 2000.
