The Final exam will be a Standardized American Chemical Society test on Thermodynamics.

Assignments
- To be assigned on a regular basis.
Attendance
- Regular class attendance is expected of you. Every unexcused absence will reduce your grade by 10%. More than three unexcused absences will result in a final gradeof F.
- If you are unable to write a test/quiz on the assigned day and time, you must get permission from the instructor, before the assigned day. Otherwise, no make-up test/quiz/exam will be given. The score on a missed test/quiz/exam will be zero.
- If you miss a class because of a medical problem, a
note from your attending physician is required for an
excused absence. For an excused absence from
a class due to a required court
appearance, or other unavoidable circumstances (ride
leaving and plane reservations do NOT count as unavoidable
circumstances), appropriate written proof is
required.
- Please check the dates for tests, quizzes and exams, and please do not make any medical appointments with your doctor or plane reservations (do NOT count as unavoidable circumstances) that will keep you away from the class.
