Frequently Asked Questions - Outlook Web Access (OWA)  on Exchange Server 2007

Q. How do I access OWA?  
A. Click on the icon on the bottom right of the main Hollins web site at http://www.hollins.edu
or
set your browser to
https://exch2k7.hollinsnt.hollins.edu/owa 
or
login to  http://my.hollins.edu and click on the E-mail tab.
 
     
Q. As a Security option should I choose 'public or shared computer' or 'private computer'?  
A. If you are in a public place like a library or internet pub, choose 'public or shared computer'  For your office or home, choose 'private computer'.  
     
Q. What to I enter for the User name:?  
A. Enter your network username and network password.  
     
Q. What is the disk quota for my mail box?  
A. The quota is 1Gb.  
     
Q. Can I create a signature ?  
A. Yes, click Options on the top bar.  In the E-mail Signature area create your signature.  When you are finished, click  save   at the top of the page

 
     
Q. Can I sort my messages?  
A. To sort messages, click on the heading by which you want to sort.   It you click on the same heading a second time, OWA will reverse the search order.

 
     
Q. How can I move an item from one folder to another  (email messages or contacts)?  
A. OWA now supports a drag-and-drop operation to move folders and items within folders from one location to another.  
     
Q. Currently I see 50 messages per page.  Can I change this number?  
A. Yes, click Options on the top bar.  Under Message Options, you can change the number to display.
