Troubleshooting the Placement Tests Important: What to do in case of problems: You may want to try taking the test on a different computer if you are experiencing problems. If you lose your internet connection in the middle of a test, your answers will not be recorded. Therefore, you might want to record a copy of your answers on paper as you take the test in case you have to restart the test and reenter them. No answers are recorded until you hit the Submit Button at the bottom of a test. If you hear audio but it is garbled, try replaying it several times. Once it has downloaded completely, it should sound clearer. If you are having technical computer problems, call Ellen Witt (540-362-6020) during business hours (M-F 8:30-4:30).
