Placement Tests

Math / QR Placement Test

The Math / QR Placement Test is taken from within Blackboard. You can access Hollins University's Blackboard site at this address:

https://hollins.blackboard.com

After you login to Blackboard, you should see a course titled: "Math / QR Placement Test" under 'My Courses'. Click on the course title to enter the course. When you are inside the course, you will see an announcement for the "Math / QR Assessment". Click that link and you will come to a screen where you will be asked to begin the assessment.

Language Placement Exams and Chemistry Placement Exam

If you need to take another placement exam, they are also available within Blackboard. You can access Hollins University's Blackboard site at this address:

After you login to Blackboard, you should see a course titled: "Placement Tests (all but math/qr)" under 'My Courses'. Click on the course title to enter the course. When you are inside the course, you will see separate content areas in the upper-left corner for each placement exam. Click the link that corresponds to the exam you want to take and you will come to a screen where you will be asked to begin the assessment.
